PhD candidate / guest
Wei started as visiting PhD researcher at the Industrial Ecology Department of CML in September 2019.
Wei received her BSc degree in Environmental Science in 2016 at College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Peking University. She started as a PhD student at School of Environment, Tsinghua University in September 2016.
Wei has already done some projects related to Chinese textile industry, such as pollution source survey, water management pattern in textile industrial parks, and water management policy review.
In September 2019, she came to CML as a visiting PhD student. She is going to learn input-output analysis methodology.
Wei’s research is focused on quantifying environmental impact embedded in textile global trade. The aim of Wei’s research is to improve the environmental performance of textile industry from the perspective of global supply chain.
