PhD candidate / guest
Wen Wen started as a PhD researcher at the Environmental Biology Department of CML in September 2019.
Wen Wen received her BSc degree in Land Resource Management in 2016 and her MSc degree in Ecology in 2019 at Sichuan Agricultural University. During her master studying, her research mainly focused on two projects i) phylogeny of wild buckwheat species and ii) potential geographical distribution of wild buckwheat species and their response to climate change. She joined Institute of Environmental Sciences (CML) in September 2019 to pursue her doctoral degree.
Wen’s research focuses on monitoring the response of crops to simultaneous drought and salt stress from remote sensing. The main aim of this research is to investigate the impact of drought and salinity stress of agricultural crops using remote sensing techniques.
