Research

My research project, Phraseology in Children's Literature: A Contrastive Analysis, combines contrastive linguistics, phraseology and Translation Studies intending to shed light on phraseological units in lower language proficiency levels of Dutch, Italian, and English.

2016 - 2019 • MA in Linguistics at Sapienza University of Rome (110/110 cum laude). Thesis: La fraseologia di Calvino nelle traduzioni nederlandesi (supervisor: Sabine Elisabeth Koesters Gensini, co-supervisor: Francesca Terrenato).
2012 - 2016 BA in Greek and Latin Language and Culture at Leiden University. Thesis: Van bedelaar tot koning in vijf dagen: dramatische ironie of early recognition in Odysseus’ herkenning door Eumaios en Eurykleia (supervisor: Adriaan Rademaker).
