Stella Morgana is a lecturer and PhD candidate at the Leiden Institute for Area Studies. She teaches History of Contemporary Iran.
My research explores the transformations of Islamic revolutionary discourse conceptualization in Iran. It investigates continuities and ruptures in the processes through which Iranian workers participated in the 1979 revolution and how their role and their political impact transformed throughout the years until the 2009 Green Movement. I have been visiting doctoral researcher at SOAS university of London and Tarbiat Modarres University in Tehran.
