Saskia van Kaam
Saskia van Kaam LLM studied law at the Open University in the Netherlands while working for the Province of South Holland. In recent years she has provided advice as a senior lawyer on notices of objection and complaints to the Provincial Executive. The notices of objection and complaints were concerned with the broad domain of the provincial competences, such as the provision of subsidies and licences, enforcement issues and requests on the grounds of the Government Information (Public Access) Act. Saskia’s particular focus was on looking for alternative means of dispute resolution by applying an informal approach to notices of objection and complaints.
At the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law, Leiden University, Saskia lectures in the courses Inleiding Bestuursrecht (Introduction to Administrative Law), Bestuursrecht (Administrative Law) and Bestuursprocesrecht (Procedural Administrative Law).
