Rolf Hansma (1959) is Assistant Professor of Labour Law at the Department of Labour Law.
Rolf Hansma (1959) studied in Leiden and graduated in criminal law. In 1983 he was appointed as research assistant at the Prof.mr B.M. Teldersfoundation (the scientific agency of the Dutch Liberal Party) and wrote the report “Limits on social security”, wherein the mini-system has been developed. Then he worked as RAIO (judicial officer in training) as clerk and public prosecutor, both at the Court of The Hague. and changed around the merger of ABN and AMRO to the bank, where he has worked for 22 years. He was there inter alia head of Labour Affairs (this department treated employment law issues, like all dismissals) and Employee Relations (that focuses on copartnership, including EWC, and negotiations with unions).
