Oda van Cranenburgh
Oda van Cranenburgh is senior lecturer in the field of comparative politics, in particular developing countries. She teaches on comparative politics, politics in developing countries, democratization and development issues. She was a member of the Advisory Board for International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1997-2004. Her recent research is on political institutions and democratisation in Africa.
Oda van Cranenburgh is available to supervise PhD students and invites PhD research proposals in the areas of:
- African politics, in particular political institutions and democratisation
- Democracy promotion policies
- Politics of development
