In 2014 Norika graduated from Erasmus University Rotterdam with a BSc in Criminology and in 2015 she completed her LL.B European Law School from Radboud University Nijmegen. In the summer of 2017 she obtained her LL.M International and European Law with a specialisation in European Law summa cum laude, also from Radboud University Nijmegen.
Norika wrote her thesis within the field of energy law and did research on the position of the consumer on the European energy market in the light of the energy transition.
During her LL.M Norika studied in Fribourg, Switzerland, where she followed European law courses in German and French. In 2011 Norika joined a Summer Law School in Oxford and in 2012 she participated in the interdisciplinary Erasmus Honours Programme.
During her studies she did various internships at the Ministry of Security & Justice and in the legal profession with law firms such as Bird&Bird (The Hague), De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek (Amsterdam) and Houthoff Buruma (Brussels). During these internships Norika dealt with questions in the regulatory sectors (telecommunication, energy, post and railway), national and European competition law and corporate criminal law in the light of European and international law.
