Nicholas joined the Kalshoven-Gieskes Forum on International Humanitarian Law (IHL) in February 2017 as a Guest Researcher.

He pursued his Bachelor of Laws in European Law School at Maastricht University (LL.B.) and obtained his Master of Laws in Public International law from Leiden University (LL.M.).

Nicholas has served as an Assistant to the Head of Office of the ADC-ICT, a Legal Intern for the Consulate of Ecuador in the Netherlands, and as a Research Assistant for Dr Emma Irving. He also co-founded a social enterprise and ran its legal affairs for a period.

He is currently a Reporter for the International Criminal Law Module of Oxford Reports on International Law.
