Mirjam van Schaik (MA, LL.M. VU University Amsterdam) is an external PhD at the Department of Jurisprudence, Leiden University, the Netherlands. She studied at VU University Amsterdam and holds a Master’s degree in Law (cum laude) and a Master’s degree in Philosophy of Law. Mirjam is currently writing her dissertation about Political secularism and the universalistic nature of freedom of religion, which is supervised by Professor P.B. Cliteur.
