Short CV
Mark Neijssel, holds a MSc in Bio-organic chemistry at University of Amsterdam. Since 1999 he has been active in various commercial roles within contract research organisations/companies for the (bio)pharmaceutical industry. His main activities have always taken place at the common ground of commerce and science. As such, he has worked a considerable period as business development manager for TNO, a large Dutch research institute, and later on for Cardialysis a spin-out company of the Erasmus University Medical Centre.
At CWTS B.V. he is responsible for the development of the contract research activities for research performance studies, network analyses & science mapping studies and tailor-made training courses for our clients. All of these activities are fueled by the research conducted at the scientific institute.
