Teaching/Research Staff Member
Manon joined the Grotius Centre for International Legal Studies in June 2018 as a research assistant in Comparative Sexual Orientation Law. She graduated with an LL.M. in Public International Law from Leiden University and MAs in European Studies and International Relations from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium). Her professional career started at the European External Action Service (EEAS) in Brussels. Later, she moved to The Hague and interned within a defence team at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). Before joining Leiden University, she conducted research on human rights and international criminal law in diverse settings and contributed in several publications.
Her field of research involves law, arts and politics and focuses on sex, gender and human rights.
