Description of my research
I am currently preparing a study of Middle Dutch hagiographical texts. In this study, I explore the history, literary structure, and the narrative motifs of these texts.
CV
From 1976 until my retirement in 2013, I taught Middle Dutch literature in the broadest sense; my courses offered in the Oude Nederlandse L&C programme, as well as my research, have explored Arthurian romances, fabliaux, encyclopaedias, and the lives of saints.
