In July 2017, I obtained a Master’s degree in Bio-Pharmaceutical Sciences at Leiden University. During my master, I worked as a research intern in the group of Bob van de Water where I focused on breast cancer cell migration. For a second intern, I went to the Netherlands Cancer Institute to identify molecular mechanisms responsible for resistance to prostate cancer treatments. In April 2018, I joined the group of Bob van de Water again to work as a research technician on hepatotoxicity related projects.
