Dr. Klaus F. Gille is an Associate Professor (em.) with a focus on research in the field of German literature around 1800, particularly on the social history, reception history, ideology criticism, and hermeneutics of prominent texts from the literary canon. He is a guest researcher at the University of Amsterdam. He also is a speaker at public lectures, symposia, and congresses.
 

Description of my research

I am currently working on some articles about Heinrich Heine and a lecture about the GDR writer Brigitte Reimann.
