Research
As part of the FEATHERS project, my research investigates the secretaries of King James VI./I. By analysing their influence on the king's English language scribal correspondence, my research explores the professional relationship between secretary and patron, analyses the king’s authorship, and works to create a working definition of the early modern secretary.
