Theories of causation play an important role in contemporary metaphysics and philosophy of science. This project aims at using the existing theoretical background to think through the relation between causation and perception. More specifically, it will examine whether perceptual concepts and empirical concepts are causal concepts, and what this means for the epistemology and metaphysics of causations.
