Jessica Sciarone is a junior researcher at the Institte of Security and Global Affairs. She graduated from King’s College London with a MA in Intelligence and International Security, focusing on intelligence failures and espionage in the Middle East. She also obtained a master’s degree in Crisis and Security Management from Leiden University, where she focused on radicalisation of women. Previously, she has worked on projects relating to migration and extremism, risk perception and the crime-terror nexus. Her research interests include terrorism, extremism, radicalisation, international security and She is also a co-editor for the Leiden Safety and Security Blog.
