Jelle Plesman studied History and International Relations in Groningen. In 2007 he graduated on the subject: “Why did the Dutch government support the American war in Iraq?” Jelle has worked for the Royal Navy and for the Dutch national railway company NS. Jelle currently works for Fortress Academy. His research interests include international relations and Dutch foreign policy, especially in the nineteenth century.
