Jacobiene Meirink's research focuses on teacher professional development.
Jacobiene Meirink studied Education and Child Studies at Leiden University from 1998 to 2002, and specialized in Educational Studies and Learning problems and impairments. In 2007 she successfully defended her thesis entitled ‘Individual teacher learning in a context of collaboration in teams’. Her PhD research project was part of a concerted research program ‘Teacher learning in the workplace’ which aimed at examining teacher learning in different learning environments. Currently, she works as an assistant professor at ICLON.
