Hale Cetinay Iyicil
Hale Cetinay is currently working on Circu-MAT (Circular City & Industry Park MATerials Metabolism Learning Package & Assessment Tool) project.
Hale Çetinay completed her Bachelor's degree at Middle East Technical University, Ankara in June 2011 in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She continued her studies at Middle East Technical University and received her Master's degree in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering in May 2014.
During the last semester of her Bachelor studies, she worked as a part-time researcher in the Power Systems Analysing and Planning group of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK), Ankara, where she continued working as a full-time power system engineer during her Master studies.
Between September 2014 and September 2018, she was a Ph.D. researcher in the Network Architectures and Services (NAS) group in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science at Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands, where she has performed research on the modelling, analyses and planning for the medium- and long-term challenges of power grids based on network science approach.
She is currently working on Circu-MAT (Circular City & Industry Park MATerials Metabolism Learning Package & Assessment Tool) project. The aim of the project is to provide a course and a web-platform that allow actors at the level of cities, city regions & industrial parks to assess the environmental and the economic benefits of local and regional circularity options.
