Ha Bae graduated from Ewha Woman's University with a master's degree in Korean Studies with a focus on Teaching Korean as a Second Language.
She has taught Korean language at the university level since 2015. Prior to coming to Leiden, she taught at Sogang University in Korea.
In addition to teaching, she had also been involved in textbook writing and coordinating for the Korean textbooks for young adults of Korean descent residing overseas. Her research interests include Korean language pedagogy, pragmatics, oral proficiency and proficiency-oriented instruction and assessment.
