Filiz Doğan is a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs, Leiden University in the Hague Campus. Filiz studied Political Science and International Relations (BA) in Marmara University and she has MA in EU Politics and International Relations in the same university in Turkey. Before she became PhD candidate, she worked as a project manager/specialist in various departments. Her research activities focus on EU Common Security and Defence Policy, EU External Relations, Comparative European Politics, EU Citizenship Policies, International Relations Theory, British and German Defence Policies, Terrorism, and Security Studies.
