Dide van Adrichem completed the research master ‘Developmental Psychopathology in Education and Child Studies’ at Leiden University in 2014. She wrote her thesis about the effects of maternal behavior on the emotional reactivity and emotion regulation in infants. During her study she completed a clinical internship at the Ambulatorium (neurospreekuur). She also worked as a student-assistant providing education for first-year students and as a research assistant on a project examining the neurobiological mechanisms of emotion regulation in young children with autism. After her graduation Dide worked as research assistant at the Institute for Education and Child Studies. In September 2015 she started as a PhD student on the Mother Infant Neurodevelopmental Study (MINDS Leiden).
Research
MINDS Leiden aims to gain insight into risk factors for early neurobiological, neurocognitive and social development on the one hand, and working mechanisms of the preventive intervention programme ‘MINDS Leiden’ on the other. This program is based on the US Minding the Baby Programme.
