Klodiana-Daphne Tona is a lecturer and researcher at the clinical psychology section. During her Phd she was co-supervised by Sander Nieuwenhuis and Birte Forstmann. Her research focuses on the neural mechanisms of anxiety and depression, the locus coeruleus-noradrenergic system in humans and the effects of neuromodulator noradrenaline on cognition, arousal, and emotions. She applies an interdisciplinary approach combining the fields of cognitive & clinical neuroscience and methodology such as pharmacology, psychophysiology, and ultra-high resolution 7T MRI.
