Title research: Legal framework for child online protection. The case of Rwanda.
Cyridion Nsengumuremyi is an External PhD Candidate at Leiden Law School in the Netherlands, eLaw - Center for Law and Digital Technologies. His research interests are centred on Digital Children’s rights.
Cyridion Nsengumuremyi is a Holder of Master of Laws (LL.M) in Intellectual Property from a joint program between University of Turin in Italy and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He is a holder of another Masters in Business Law from the National University of Rwanda (NUR) where he conducted his Law Bachelor Studies. In addition, he holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Cyridion Nsengumuremyi served in the Judiciary of Rwanda as a judge for 12 years among which 8 years at the head of Commercial Court of Huye. He is a Trainer in Legal Practice at the Institute of Legal Practice and Development (ILPD) in Nyanza and Kigali, Rwanda.
As a member of Rwanda Bar Association and the East African Law society, Cyridion Nsengumuremyi practices as an advocate with specialization in Intellectual Property.
