Coco Kanters is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology of Leiden University. Her project is funded by the NWO research talent scheme and focuses on what the professionalisation, transnational interconnection and regulation of circular economy initiatives in North-West Europe might imply for the ways citizenship is produced. She holds a MRes in Anthropology (University College London, distinction), a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences (Utrecht University, cum laude) and a BSc in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociology (Utrecht University, cum laude).
Coco previously worked at the interdisciplinary Centre for the Study of Decision-Making Uncertainty (University College London). Currently, she continues to work across academic disciplines as a lecturer at Liberal Arts and Sciences (Utrecht University).
