Carienke de Jong-Kegel
Carienke Kegel finished her research master ‘Educational Science and Learning’ cum laude at Leiden University in 2007. She started a PhD project about differential susceptibility in education. The project focused on the relation between genes, executive functioning, and computer games for kindergartners. Carienke is involved in a longitudinal follow up study and works as assistant professor.
Carienke’s research is focused on (neuro)biological causes of differential susceptibility of computer interventions for kindergartners.
