Professional Experience

A.Aditya Budiarsa is a lecturer and researcher at Dept. of Water Resources Management, Faculty of fisheries and marine science, Mulawarman University, East Kalimantan Indonesia.  His research theme mainly focus on bio-ecology interaction on tropical coastal ecosystem. He  completed his bachelor’s degree in fisheries in Mulawarman University in 2005 and completed his Master of Science in Coastal Management in Diponegoro University, Indonesia in 2012.  He currently working on his PhD research on The resilience of  tropical intertidal “blue carbon”seagrass meadows, grazed by Dugong (Dugong dugong) and the impact of anthropogenic stressors. This research will placed in Balikpapan Bay East Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Research Topic

 Understanding the ecology system “plant-herbivore interaction” to improve carbon capture and sequestration and the anthropogenic impact to this system.
