In November 2014, Andreas Burger started his PhD under the supervision of Bart Verkuil on the topic of transcutaneous Vagus Nerve stimulation and perseverative cognitions.
Andreas Burger studied at Glasgow University, and at Leiden University where he obtained his degree as a research master Clinical and Health psychology in 2014. After having obtained his degree, Andreas worked as a junior researcher at the Depression and Bipolar Depression departments of PsyQ in The Hague, where he specialised in studying the influence of light on mood disorders.
