This study focuses mainly on the efficacy of the treatment offered to children with emotional and behavioural problems in schools for special education as well as inclusive education. In addition, the characteristics of both populations in a broad sense are also an important aspect.

To examine these characteristics, parents and teachers are asked to fill in some questionnaires which measure for example, the degree of problem behaviour. This data functions as the baseline of the study. Next the development of the children in the research population will be followed for two years to see if they improved and to what extend.

Also, the treatments that were used to attend to the problems of the children will be evaluated. The main aim of the study is to provide evidence-based means to treat children with emotional and behavioural problems in the classroom and to increase the knowledge about this group of children.
