Implementation of evidence-based interventions promoting healthy lifestyles
Which factors influence the adoption, implementation and continuation of evidence based lifestyle interventions?
- Winifred Gebhardt
Despite proven efficacy of many interventions that promote healthy lifestyles, the implementation of such interventions in practice is not always as desired or planned. In this line of research, we therefore investigate the preconditions for effective adoption, implementation and continuation of evidence-based interventions. We also evaluate policy measures, and conduct formative research to support (local) governments in their efforts to enhance healthy lifestyles of their citizens.
