Tanja Masson: Huge changes in space law

For years now, collaboration has been the operative word when it comes to successful space missions. But this can only be achieved with good agreements.

Tanja Masson-Zwaan

Tanja Masson-Zwaan talks in an interview (in Dutch) with KIJK about space law which has been her career and passion for decades.

These are exciting times in her area of expertise. 'You can compare it to air law fifty years ago, those were exciting times too. The amount of laws and rules on air law was rapidly reduced so that taking a plane to Barcelona became almost just as easy as a train journey from Utrecht to Groningen. From a legal point of view of course, air law changed drastically. Space law is now approaching a similar phase.'
