Leiden Researchers Participate in the Fourth International Conference on Legislation and Law Reform, Washington D.C.
On 17 and 18 November 2016 the World Bank in Washington, D.C. hosted the Fourth International Conference on Legislation and Law Reform.
During the conference various theoretical and practical issues related to legislation and legislative drafting were discussed. Professor Cary Coglianese from the University of Pennsylvania delivered the key note speech entitled ‘The Politics of the Rulemaking Process: Implications of the Trump Election’ (see photo). The International Association of Legislation (IAL) co-organised the conference and was responsible for the organisation of four workshops in particular:
