Rating method
The University Keuzegids 2017 is an independent guide that assesses and compares the bachelor programmes of all Dutch universities. When rating the programmes, the makers of the guide base their findings on student assessments in the National Student Survey and on the opinion of specialists at the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders. The Leiden criminology programme achieved the highest rating for the provision of information and the assessment by experts. The Keuzegids also notes that few students drop out of their studies in Leiden.
