Jorrit Rijpma panelist at the European Day for Border Guards
On May 24 Jorrit Rijpma took part in a panel discussion on “national states, common borders: future of border management in Europe, taking place in Warsaw, Poland.
The panel formed part of the yearly European Day for Border Guards, organized by the EU’s border agency Frontex. Other participants included Frontex’s executive director Fabrice Leggeri, the chairman of the Frontex Management Board and a representative from the European Commission. The European Day for Border Guards (ED4BG) is an annual event, that brings together representatives of national border guard services, as well as public and private actors in border management.
