Jorrit Rijpma member of the CEPS Task Force European Border and Coast Guard
On 21 June, Jorrit Rijpma spoke at the first meeting of the Task Force on a European Border and Coast Guard, established by the Centre for European Policy Studies in Brussels.
The Task Force studies the legal, ethical, political and practical challenges of setting up a single EBCG. It brings together a selected group of high-level experts, practitioners, policy makers and academics to explore these issues in a plural and in depth manner.
The Task Force is chaired by Enrico Letta, Dean of the School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po in Paris. On the basis of a number of meetings, CEPS will publish a report with conclusions and recommendations onder the editorship of Dr. Carrera, Prof. Guild, Prof. Blockmans and Prof. Jean-Pierre Cassarino.
