Second edition of the CEL Academic Teaching Lab
After the success of the previous edition in November 2015, it has been decided to organise the Academic Teaching Lab two times per year.
In April 2016, the Leiden-Delft-Erasmus Rotterdam (LDE) Centre for Education and Learning (CEL) organises a new edition of the Academic Teaching Lab. From Leiden University ICLON is involved in this initiative.
During this unique opportunity, teachers can focus fully on improving their education, guided by educational experts and specialists in other domains. The choice of topics covered and expertise hired depends on the proposals of the teachers that have been selected.
Selection of participants
From the three participating universities (TU Delft, Leiden University and Erasmus University Rotterdam), 12 teachers can participate, that is approximately 4 per university. Participation is free of charge and includes accommodation and catering.
Interested teachers are requested to submit a proposal on how they want to improve their education of no longer than 2 A4 pages. Selection will take place based on these proposals. The University Teaching Qualification (BKO) or exemption is required to participate.
More information on the event and guidelines for writing a proposal, can be found on the Academic Teaching Lab page on the CEL website. Deadline for submitting a proposal is March 29th.
