Freya Baetens listed on the SCIA Panel of Arbitrators

The South China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (also known as Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, or "SCIA") is one of the principal International Arbitration Institutions in China, established in 1983. It was founded to resolve contract disputes and other property rights disputes amongst individuals, legal entities and institutions from domestic China and overseas.

Over the past thirty years, the SCIA has developed into a leading international dispute resolution platform in Asia and the Pacific region, based on the principles of “Independence, Impartiality and Innovation”. Approximately 40% of SCIA panel arbitrators come from over fifty foreign jurisdictions.

On 1 December 2015, the SCIA Council formally approved the appointment of Freya Baetens to the SCIA Panel of Arbitrators.
