Leiden University deepens cooperation with Mexico
The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Professor Wim van den Doel, recently visited Mexico to sign a number of cooperation agreements with universities and research institutes. These programmes broaden and strengthen the academic ties with Latin America.
The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Professor Wim van den Doel, recently visited Mexico to sign a number of cooperation agreements with universities and research institutes. These programmes broaden and strengthen the academic ties with Latin America.
Leiden has now cooperation agreements with institutions in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Puebla, where staff and students can spend a study stay and conduct research. Courses are offered both in Spanish and English, and it is also possible to learn Spanish language in Mexico.
Leiden has established ties with top institutions accredited with excellence programmes, including:
- Colegio de México
- Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla
- Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia
- Universidad Iberoamericana
- Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios de Occidente.
