Marc Koper wins Carl Wagner Memorial Award 2013
Chemist Prof. Marc Koper was awarded the Carl Wagner Memorial Award of the Electrochemical Society.
Reasoning of the jury:
‘You are currently Full Professor of Surface Chemistry and Catalysis at Leiden University in the Netherlands. Committee members noted outstanding publication record and his important scientific contributions to the fields of surface electrochemistry, charge transfer electrochemical reactions, and electro catalysis. The five reference letters and the nomination letter on Koper were outstanding. The committee also noted his age, 46, which is consistent with the Wagner Award rules statement that the candidate should be in his/her mid-career.’
