Visiting Lecturers

The Institute has five visiting Lecturers:

Prof. Dr. Vincent Correia

Prof. Correia was appointed, next to his position at the Université Paris XI, professor of Public Law at the Université de Poitiers where he gives lectures in Aviation Law, European Union Law and European Economic Law and Audio-Visual Law. In the LL.M. programme he lectures European Aerospace Law, European Air Law, Public Air Law and EU Law.

Prof. Mahulena Hofmann

Prof. Hofmann is appointed as the SES Chair in Satellite Communications and Media Law at the University of Luxembourg and gives lectures for the Adv. LL.M. programme on the topic of telecommunications law. She is member of the European Centre for Space Law, the International Institute of Space Law and numerous other international academic and expert organisations. She is also part of the Expert Committee of the Council of Europe for regional and minority languages. She is teaching Space Telecommunications Law and has written several books and articles on these subjects.

Prof. Dr. Olavo Bittencourt de Neto

Prof. Olavo de O. Bittencourt Neto is a Professor Doctor at the Catholic University of Santos, Brazil and Post-Doctoral Researcher at the University of Sao Paulo. He has been part of Brazilian Delegations before the United Nations Committee on Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (UNCOPUOS) since 2009, providing legal assistance to the diplomatic staff on Space Law and International Law. Prof. de Bittencourt de Neto is a visiting lecturer at our Institute and lectures Space Law and Policy: delimitation of outer space. 

Dr. Donal Hanley

Dr. Donal Hanley is Vice President, Legal of Aviation Capital Group (ACG), a large aircraft leasing company, and Managing Director of its Irish subsidiary, ACG Aircraft Leasing Ireland Limited. He has 25 years of experience in aircraft leasing and finance law in Ireland, the UK and the US. Qualified as a lawyer in Ireland, England and California, he studied in Canada and the Netherlands and has, among others, MBA, LLM and PhD degrees, all specializing in aviation. Dr. Hanley teaches Aircraft Finance at our Institute.
