Course description

The German 10 Plus course is a small group course for a maximum of 7 persons. This means that there is a lot of personal attention and assistance for the course participants. This course is intended for those who have completed the German 9 course or have a comparable level (B2) of German. From the beginning of this course, you will start communicating in German. The topics covered include: summarizing a text, convincing people, taking notes, writing a letter of complaint, expressing opinions, dialects, studies, education and profession, having discussions. The necessary grammar is explained and ample attention is paid to vocabulary. All skills are covered: speaking, writing, reading and listening. Attention is also paid to the cultural context of the countries in which the language is spoken.

After completing this course, you will be able to understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts and recognize the implicit meaning. You can express yourself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions. You can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. You can produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.

The course is concluded with a test. A certificate is awarded if the test is completed successfully and the participant has attended 80% of the lessons.
