Honours Community

The Honours Academy organises various social and topical activities for all Honours students each year. Students can also join the Leiden Honours Community (LHC), the study association for Honours programmes in Leiden.

Honours students are automatic members of the Honours Community: from those on the Pre-University Programme to those on Leiden Leadership Programme. This is a network of inspiring lecturers and likeminded students. Alumni will benefit from it for the rest of their lives. For more information on the Honours Community see the Honours Academy website.

Leiden Honours Community

The Leiden Honours Community Foundation (SLHC) is a network of Honours students at Leiden University. Its members can participate in the activities of the community such as workshops, social events and the annual study trip.

Honours students can also take an active role on the Foundation’s committees. They thus gain experience in organising activities and working with other motivated students. For more information about the SLHC see their website.

JHV Themis

JHV Themis is the study association for students on the Law Honours programme. It aims to foster contact between students on the programme and to support them in their career preparations. It holds lectures and works with companies, thus giving its members the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of topics of law. For more information on JHV Themis see www.jhvthemis.nl.

JHV Themis is currently the only study association that caters for students on one of our programmes.
