Descriptive and Anthropological Linguistics Discussion Group
This group's objective is mainly to discuss data from an anthropological linguistic and descriptivist perspective. Through discussion we aim to stimulate ideas and contribute with literature to enrich the analysis of the language under study.
About
The Descriptive and Anthropological Linguistics Discussion Group offers the opportunity for PhD candidates, staff members, guests, and MA students 1) to present raw data, such as from fieldwork, and (preliminary) analyses to receive feedback in an informal setting, 2) to do a trial run for an upcoming talk somewhere else, 3) to discuss a certain topic/issue. This group meets around twice a month on Mondays from 16:00 to 17:00.
Organization
The discussion group is organized by Hanna Fricke, Chams Bernard, and Yunus Sulistyono.
