The Experience Day of BSc. Security Studies is offered 'on Campus' at Campus Wijnhaven in The Hague, The Netherlands and online via platform Microsoft Teams.

13:30– 14:00 hrs

Arrival and Registration
Find your way to our Campus Wijnhaven in the city centre of The Hague, The Netherlands and make sure to register at the registration desk.

14:00– 15:00 hrs

Mini lecture BSc. Security Studies (On Campus & livestream) in room 2.02
This session by programme director Daan Weggemans will offer you a snapshot of what a plenary lecture in the programme is like. 

After the mini lecture the student ambassador Joeri Lammerts will tell you more about student life, the first year as a Security Studies student and the difference between VWO (high school) and University.

15:00 – 15:15 hrs

15:15 – 16:15 hrs

For students only:
Mini skills lab (online for one session) in room 2.17 & room 2.59
In this small scale interactive session, we will focus on one of the key skills taught during skills labs, which is being able to have an academic discussion. We will introduce you to a number of tools to help you think critically and build strong academic argumentation. We will put these skills to practice through an interactive discussion held at the end of the workshop on a current security case study.
