On Tuesday 21 September we will celebrate the faculty Opening of the Academic Year 2021-2022. You're welcome to join our online talk show in which our dean Paul Wouters welcomes various guests from within and outside our faculty. During the opening, we will kick off the construction of Phase 2A of the Gorlaeus Building in a festive manner. Watch live from 11.00 hrs.
Our guests
Paul Wouters is the host of the We Are Science Talkshow. He will talk to Spinoza Prize winner Marc Koper, the board members of the network for female beta scientists RISE and our assessor Joost Barendse. He also welcomes Jasper Knoester, our new dean. Together they look ahead to his start in January 2022.
Phase 2A of the new building starts
In the second part of the talk show, Wouters continues with various guests who are involved in the development and construction of Phase 2A. Guests at the table are Michel Leenders (Vastgoedbedrijf Universiteit Leiden), Ramon Janssen (Heijmans), Ida Haisma (LBSP), Hans Toornstra (Inbo), Ad van Aert (JHK) and Odette Ex (Ex Interiors). They will discuss the concept, the environment of Phase 2a and the construction.
Main role for our students
