Professor Philippe van Haute, Radboud university

prof. dr. P.I.M.M. van Haute (Philippe)

Philippe Van Haute is professor of philosophical anthropology at Radboud University. He is also a psychoanalyst and was president of the Belgian School for Psychoanalysis from 2006 to 2009. He published extensively on the relation between psychoanalysis and philosophy. His last bookpublication in English (with Herman Westerink): "Reading Freuds 'Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality'. From Pleasure to Object" (Routledge, History of psychoanalysis series). He is currently finishing a book in Dutch (also with Herman Westerink) on "Drift, verleiding en herhaling. Freuds metafysica van het trauma" (publication second half of 2021).
