Implicit Bias training

Implicit Bias training for FGGA staff members - second session

Date
Thursday 11 March 2021
Time
Location
Online

As part of our Diversity and Inclusion agenda, FGGA organizes two possibilities for staff to participate in a training about ‘implicit bias’. The training consists of two 3 hour-sessions, which are led by Caroline Pickard.

The program combines a theoretical foundation with immersive (group) exercises and filmed scenarios to experience and reflect on our own biases. Implicit bias describes the attitudes or associations we hold about individuals or groups of people which unconsciously affect our understanding and influence the actions and decisions we take in the workplace.

This training program will explore how implicit bias can impact everyday practice at the University and help you develop techniques to mitigate its impact, in particular in assessment processes.

The online training will held in Kaltura.
