During the International Criminal Law Summer School students are immersed in the field through lectures and exercises dealing with all aspects of International Criminal Law, from substantive crimes (genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and aggression) to complementarity, modes of liability, the rights of the accused and the role of victims. They also explore the City of Peace and Justice and visit a number of international institutions, such as the International Criminal Court.
The lectures, workshops and exercises will deal with all aspects of International Criminal Law, from substantive crimes (genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes and aggression) to complementarity, modes of liability, the rights of the accused and the role of victims.
